Hanga

The aim of the Hanga lamp collection is to show the beauty inherent in waste in addition to bringing circular thinking to the forefront. The biodegradable lampshades, created in collaboration with Malom project, were formed from three different plant wastes: orange peel, coffee grounds, and needles. After drying and shredding the plant waste, the lamps were made by adding a natural binder and pressing. While coffee and orange peel are collected by creators from local businesses, the needles come from discarded Christmas trees.
